David Plant makes block prints, pen & ink, etchings, wood carvings, jewelry and ceramics… and he will be one of the artist displaying his work at the Chico ART Festival, May 8 & 9, 2026. The festival is outdoors on the beautiful grounds of St John’s Episcopal Church on Floral Avenue, in Chico.
In addition to browsing at the art, listening to music, and all the other fun activities at the Chico ART Festival, we have a Call to Artists for a SketchOut Competition. The winner of the competition will be chosen by public votes and will be awarded a basket of art supplies including a $50 gift certificate for Ellis Art. Ellis Art and Engineering has generously donated over $75 worth of art supplies.
Pat Koszis produces functional and figurative sculptural ceramics in brilliant colors. She also teaches classes in her studio in Chico sharing with immense pleasure what she has learned about clay with others. In addition, she is one of the main producer of the Chico ART Festival.
Sarah Skinner will be showing her art at the Chico ART Festival. Her paintings are inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of Northern California, where she spends time hiking and camping with her camera and her pochade box in her truck.
After 30 years of living and working in the Chico/ and Cohasset area, I moved to Guatemala in 2008 and have had my workshop there every since. What a pleasure to find myself able to weave my love of Guatemalan textiles and painting with the art and social ambience of Chico with coming to the Art at the Matador event for 4 years or so and now to the new venue Chico ART Festival.
Sienna Orlando-Lalaguna, also known as Sienna Ceramics, makes field-to-table pottery based on the seasons – wild and cultivated ceramics for your kitchen, rituals, and feasts. My home studio, located in the Sacramento Valley, is solar-powered and ecologically minded.
Meet Nate Lowe and his borosilicate glass creations. He will be showing his artwork at the Chico ART Festival. Nate makes handmade nature fantasy themed glass art including sculptures, home and garden accessories, earrings and pendants.
Richard Davis has been a leather worker since 1979, and loves designing and creating pieces that are both unique and highly functional. He will be one of the exhibitor at the Chico ART Festival held outdoors on the beautiful grounds of St John’s Episcopal Church on Floral Avenue, in Chico.
