We are a small and dedicated team taking care of all the details to produce the Chico ART Festival, from getting the event in magazines, the radio, and on the web to ordering the portable toilets and garbage cans and laying out the booths, to making margaritas, all with the help of extra volunteers. We also thank our festival’s angels, persons who have helped behind the scene with key parts to the festival, such as our main banner and yard signs – You know who you are! Thanks again!

Chico ART Festival location: St John’s Episcopal Church on Floral Avenue, close to the intersection with East Avenue.
Date and times: Friday, May 8, from 4 pm to 8:00 pm with Fire Dancing at 8 pm right after the art booth closes so plan to stay & Saturday, May 9, from 10 am to 4 pm.
Why Friday and Saturday and not Sunday? Early on, the ChiVAA’s board wanted to enjoy Mother’s Day with their families, so the art show was scheduled with a Friday gala opening and an all-day show on Saturday. Over the years, the tradition has endured. Also, having the show right before Mother’s Day would give everyone an opportunity to shop for Mother’s Day gifts.
