In addition to all the other fun activities at the Chico ART Festival, we are Calling All Artists for a SketchOut opportunity.

Where: St. John’s Episcopal Church at 2341 Floral Avenue, Chico

When: Saturday, May 7, 9 am-12 Noon

Here is a unique opportunity to draw, sketch and/or paint people, art, buildings, and landscapes and possibly win a basket full of art supplies too. The subject of your art will be up to you as the artist.

Once you have created your work of art, return it to the Information booth where it will be on display. The visitors to the Art Festival will then be able to vote for their favorite artwork.

How to Enter Competition: Stop by the Info Booth to sign up for the event and to receive paper for your art. All other art supplies must be provided by you the artist.

Winner announced at 4pm: The winner will be chosen by public votes at the info booth and will receive a basket of art supplies and a $50 gift certificate. Ellis Art and Engineering has generously donated over $75 worth of art supplies. The artist does not need to be present to win (just be sure to leave contact details at the Information booth).
