Non-Profit Organizations
Many of the non-profit organizations will have activities and demos. Mt Lassen Fiber Guild will offer a “Weave to Win” activity, inviting visitors to weave a portion of a scarf on a loom. Each participant will have a chance to win the finished scarf. Mt Lassen Fiber Guild will also showcase spinning demonstrations and a variety of handwoven, dyed, and in addition they will have handspun items for sale, all created by guild members. On Saturday, Chivaa, the Chico Visual Arts Alliance will host a SketchOut Competition with prizes for two winners, best by popular votes and best entry in the youth category.
