Reta Rickmers, Pleasant Valley High School Art Teacher, says: “Students in the Art Studio at PVHS are very excited to be displaying and selling work at Art at the Matador in May. This year we received a CTA/IFT grant we called ARTreprenuers to give students a peek inside the brains of real entrepreneurs.  Our focus is on creativity, teamwork, problem solving, marketing, and community connections. Teams are making necklaces, earrings, greeting cards, hand painted pots, stickers, handmade scented soap, bath bombs, and decorated head bands. They are also creating logos and packaging for their products.”
