Ukraine Friendship Bracelets made with waterproof nylon cord, Czech fire polished beads, pewter and zamack beads and charms

Like everyone else, upon the onset of the war in Ukraine I was horrified and I wanted to do something to help. As a jewelry designer working with cord and thread, I decided to make Ukraine Friendship Bracelets in the colors for Ukraine using blues for the sky and sea, and yellows and golds for the fields of wheat, corn, and sunflowers.

These bracelets will be available at the Chico ART Festival taking place outdoors at St John’s Episcopal Church on Floral Avenue in Chico on Mother Day Weekend, Friday, May 6 from 4 pm to 8 pm, and Saturday, May 7 from 10 am to 5 pm.

25% of the sales on the Ukraine Friendship Bracelets will be donated to non-profit organizations helping in Ukraine with the humanitarian crisis.

These bracelets are fully adjustable, one size fits all, and easy to wear. They are a meaningful gift for Mother’s Day.

I am making more Ukraine Friendship bracelets as we speak… to bring to the show this Friday and Saturday. I will also have a collection of my other jewelry on hand. You can see more of my work HERE.

In addition as the volunteer organizing and posting all the web content of the ChiVAA website, I have been busy creating all the art posts including this one.
