“My name is Amy Karr, and I’m an artist whose current medium is leather and sheep’s wool. I make hand stitched leather goods (bags and journals) and felted tapestries and critters. I am also a potter but taking a break from pottery to explore other artistic interests.”
“I’ve always done some type of art but my interests have changed through the years. I attend The John C Campbell Folk School at least once a year to get reinvigorated, learn new forms of craft and to be immersed in the creative energy that everyone there brings.”
Amy Karr will be exhibiting at the Chico ART Festival on Mother Day Weekend.
The festival will be held outdoors at St John’s Episcopal Church on Floral Avenue, in Chico, on Mother Day Weekend, May 6 & 7, 2022.
Hours are Friday from 4pm to 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
