Meet one of the artist who will be exhibiting at the Chico ART Festival on Mother Day Weekend. The festival will be held outdoors at St John’s Episcopal Church on Floral Avenue, in Chico, on May 6 & 7, 2022. Friday from 4pm to 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.

Hi! My name is Jeff, and I am a Marin County-based landscape photographer. I’ve been a full-time professional since 2014, and I specialize in innovative, expressive storytelling from our beautiful Northern California home. My current focus, “Awaken”, inspires my viewers to love and explore little-known gems in the area we live.

I have found endless inspiration in the natural areas surrounding Chico, and I’m excited to share the scenes I’ve come across.

My clients include Adobe, the Sierra Club, UCLA, Bing, AAA, and The Nature Conservancy, and you may have seen my spreads in the 2022 California Visitor’s Guide.

I’m also a meteorologist, and the co-founder of Escaype, the world’s first weather service and community for photographers. I call my research scenic meteorology – the study of beautiful weather. I analyze weather forecasts to maximize my chances of being in the right place at the right time, when the optimal weather and light conditions converge.

In addition to making art that is accessible for everyone, I have a line of ultra-high-resolution photos for large custom prints, and digital applications that demand perfect detail. I’m a member of VAST, an elite collective of high-resolution photographers. You can see more on my website HERE.

  1. Love your work! I cut out the beautiful photo of the Golden Gate Bridge in the fog with the purple flowers in the foreground from MARIN Magazine, but of course it has a big rip down the middle. How much do you charge for prints of your photos – that one, for example?
