We at ChiVAA will continue to garner support from Chico businesses to offset expenses and promote our artists in print, on the air, and through social media. Participating artists will have the opportunity to transform their assigned spaces into living galleries where they can meet the public, market their wares, and be inspired by each other. Participating artists will automatically become ChiVAA members for a year.

Step #1. Read Artist Prospectus HERE

Make sure you meet all the participation requirements in the artist prospectus before applying to the festival. This show is juried. We will review your application. If you share a booth, each artist needs to apply.

Step #2. Apply online HERE – It’s easy!

Applications submitted online are easier all around. Upload your images right on the form. You may need to create a free google account if you do not have one already. For anyone who prefers older and harder ways to apply, we still accept applications sent by email or by post.

  • Apply by Email: Email application and images to festival@ChiVAA.org
  • Apply by Mail: Send application, images, and payment to ChiVAA – Chico ART Festival, P. O. Box 1967, Chico, CA 95927. Only digital images will be used for electronic and print publicity. Hard copy photos will be used for screening only, but not for promotional purposes, and they will not be returned.

Step #3. Pay for your Booth

Pay via Paypal here, with any major credit or debit card. You do not need to have a Paypal account. Payments made online are the easiest way all around, but if you prefer, send a check or money order payable to ChiVAA P.O. Box 1967, Chico, CA 95927 with a copy of your application.

Booth spaces 10 feet by 10 feet outdoors: You provide your own tent, tables, and display furniture.

Apply and make your booth payment by March 30 as the booth prices are tiered. On April 1st, it goes up to $200 per booth.

Pay $175 – Booth Fee for one (1) 10×10 Space

Upon submission, the Chico ART Festival committee will review your application, with its accompanying images and descriptions, to ensure that your art meets exhibition-quality standards. We will contact you by email with the status of your application. Thank you!
